Intellectual property and the right to participate in cultural life: On 9 May, 3D urged the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights to address the ways that intellectual property and related standards affect enjoyment of the right to participate in cultural life.
3D expresó su preocupación por las repercusiones que tiene la protección en materia de propiedad intelectual en el derecho a la alimentación: En una presentación ante el Comité de Derechos Económicos, Sociales y Culturales, celebrada el 28 de abril, 3D expuso diversas formas en que esas normas más estrictas de propiedad intelectual, aplicadas a las semillas de la India, pueden repercutir en el derecho a la alimentación, así como en el derecho a participar en la vida cultural.
