Before joining 3D, Violette Ruppanner was a senior policy advisor and director of communications at IDEAS Centre, a Geneva-based non-profit organization that assists developing countries in their quest to integrate the world economy in a way beneficial to their development efforts. She also worked as Council Officer at the EFTA Secretariat, held various positions in the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) promoting bilateral economic relations and economic development cooperation. Violette also served as a diplomat at the Swiss Embassy in Hanoi, where she was in charge of economic, commercial and cultural relations. Trained as an economist, she holds Masters in Management of Technology (MoT) from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland and in Business Administration (MBA) from Michigan State University, USA. She also was a visiting scholar at Nanjing University.

Stewart Jackson, a chartered accountant working for WSP International, is providing accounting support and financial advice to 3D. Stewart has a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and Administration from Victoria University, Wellington, New Zealand. He has worked as an accountant in both the private and NGO sectors for over twenty years.

Claudio Brenni has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relationship, from the University of Lausanne (UNIL) and a Master degree in Development Studies, with a specialisation in Global Ecology, from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies of Geneva.
